Been following this forum for about a month now, and the Home Depot cli stories. So I tried. I applied online on Nov 15, 2017. Approved instantly for $801 with a 635 credit karma score. Just got my card today on Nov 28, 2017. Immediately called customer service to ask for a cli. I'm needing a roof and said I've gotten contractor pricing between 8-12k for the roof so I thought I'd go to Home Depot for a roof price and was expecting a price from them somewhere between 8-12k, so I'd like to request a 12k limit. She came back with a $5900 cli. Not bad for 3 weeks. Maybe should of asked for 15k, but I'm happy.
Any suggestions on when I should ask for more?
BTW-they did a hard pull.
HD are usually hp for cli requests. There are few lucky ones who get sp but if you arent in that category, always expect a hp
