I think it was their fear of the ruby slippers that did it.

Congrats on your SP approval!

Do they use a TU FICO 9?

For approvals, yes.
Dont know what they use for CLI, 8 or 9
I saw account review SP on EQ in September when I pulled annual credit report, and another on 10/25.
Nothing between approval and September 🤷‍♀️

Yes, link says they will pull credit. It only asks for income, housing and assets (non mandatory field).

Credit was not pulled. 🤷‍♀️

Interesting. I may be hitting that in a month or so. Ran 6k through in the first month, albeit some seasonal spend. But mobile pay is a lot more viable for my life than I was giving it credit, meaning a ton more used. Just hate the prospect of another inquiry.

Forgive me for being slow. Which card is this about? I take it in this case AR isn't account review.

Based on your sig I don't think a TU pull if it comes to that isn't the end of the world. To me I see HPs as a necessary evil so don't value them as highly as others do. And in the case of CLI requests to me it is infinitely more preferable to taking the AAoA hit a new account would bring for a similar increase especially with app rules some banks have (looking at you Chase and BofA)

I plan to wait til after holidays where it'll be roughly six months since my approval and all the holiday spend is accounted for so they have a record of it before hitting them up
