Well. I came out of the garden on 03/31 after 9 months to pick the Schwab Investor at 20k. I increased my CL with Fidelity Amex to 30k (pulled TU), and now here are my last approvals before I go back into the garden... hopefully Here are my approval stats:
Citi Reserve: $18k limit with the bonus night certificates x2 - pulled EX
Hawaiian Airlines MC: $22k limit with the special 50k miles offer I just received in the mail (we have family there and go every year)... - pulled TU
Amex Hilton: $5k limit. I couldn't pass up on the 75k points offer, and I already had the Surpass from a couple years ago. - pulled EX. This was a mistake on my part since I could have applied at the same time as my Schwab Investor with one hard pull. So, I took an extra hard pull just 9 days later from Amex. I'm also regretting that I could have applied for the Schwab Platinum to pick up 40k MR points.
Discover IT: SP CLI to 10.5K
I'll add my DW's approvals for helpful info:
Chase Freedom: $15k and BofA CLI to $30k. Her CR's are spotless and scores well over 775. The backstory on the Freedom is that they initially declined her due to too many new accounts. However, she was an AU on all my accounts that I opened last year and has one United card from 10 years ago, so I sent a secure message from her account. 10 days later, we received a message that she was approved!
My inquiries now: EX: 9 | TU: 4 | EQ: 2
2 EX inquiries are falling off this year and 4 next year. Someone, please talk me out of applying for the Schwab Platinum Amex! I know I don't need it... All this info to say that it has been a long road for me to get approvals like this, it took about 5 years to clean up my act and have things in good shape... Be encouraged!
Congratulations on your great new cards. Very nicely done.
Please don't apply for anything else. You will undermine the solid work you have done in building and the good foundation you have already built.
You mentioned yourself that you don't need the card. You already have some very nice cards and some very solid scores.
Take a break from the boards here if needed. You've worked hard to achieve this success, congratulations!

Thanks, humu... I took a break from the boards during my 9-month garden extravaganza, I think I'll have to do it again...

It's ok, we are happy to have you here, but either way, you have to do what works best for you. Great job!
Congratulations! Awesome approvals and limits! Your score is fantastic.
Congrats
Fantastic job! Great cards & CL's! The garden misses you!
