I was approved Thurs evening, so I figured with yesterday being a holiday I would be lucky to see it by the end of this week
Congrats again. Itching to get this one as well. Wondering if I need to wait or can I still go for it? I guess if I like a bigger CL I'll better do what you did. My wife got her Custom Cash and the two Freedom Flex cards today as well. The Freedom Flex is still old-style, with embossed numbers on the front of the card.
I think people have also gotten good SLs with immediate apps.
I was originally waiting until December to get 4/24 for CFF anyway. Even when I started considering this card instead, I was going to wait for my Elan MCP and Synovus Travel Rewards to age more than 6 mos before apping. Those cards turned 6 mos old in late Sept, so I decided to go ahead and wait until Oct 1 to see if I got any offers, because I was told they did those the first day of the quarter.
This just kinda worked out for me, more than strategy alone! 😂
Congrats @JNA1 on massive SL!!! Is the CU worth becoming a member in general? Ye, a card with that starting limit it a no brainer, but want to know is the app process similar to AOD becuase I've seen this bank mentioned in these forums several times - my interest is now piqued 🤣🤣🤣

Honestly, they've quickly became my favorite CU - and and you can see in my sig, I'm a member of quite a few. I have moved most of my assets there, and I'm going to moving my DD there soon as well. I have their Cash Back Debit Checking that earns 1% on stuff I can't use a CC for, and I have their SmartStart Savings account that is 2% APY up to $2500 and 1% for $2500 - $5000, so it's a nice savings account up to $5k. They have a lot of nice products.
This was my pre-approved offers this quarter.

Both my Wife and I are members. We both have the boosted interest savings accounts, she has the excellent CB card and they have just been great in every respect. They reach out to you to make sure you are pleased with their services, offer excellent customer service and overall are among the best CU's I have encountered... and I have some experience in that department! They are recommended.
If anyone is in need, their secured card is excellent as well and I think it is a no credit check card.

Great information, thanks! I've just recently joined and was approved for the Cash Rewards card, which is going to see heavy spend due to the boosted bonues in several holidy-friendly categories.
Do you know whether it's possible to set up an auto-redemption for credit card rewards? I've also opened a Smart Start savings account and would like to auto-redeem rewards into this account.

Jump in... the water's fine!!!
If you are thinking about joining (and you really, really should), then you may be interested in the checking account debit card with a $150 SUB. Unfortunately, the SUB is only for "new members". I'm thinking about having my DW join and possibly my DD's because I love this card so much. Maybe they get the same @JNA1 treatment with a nice offer for the card down the road.

Thank you @JNA1 @spiritcraft1 !!!!! Really appreciate the feedback. I've been planning out my next CC apps and their CB card is probably one I'll be going after in the first or second quarter next year.

Thanks @Duke_Nukem !
The Relationship Specialist I talked to said the pre-approvals can take up to 6 months, but it seems like most people are seeing them the next quarter after they joined. Mine showed up a little under 3 months because I joined right after Q3 started.
I would think people who join now could potentially see preapprovals on Jan 1st.
