I thought I'd just edit my post from May, but I don't have the option to Reply so maybe it's too old. In May I asked for $1,500 to raise my $3,500 QS to $5,000. But I was offered $3k, so the card went to $6.5k. It's been over 6 months and I have a PenFed card "Under Review," which I assume will be a denial, so to make myself feel better I thought, what the heck. I asked Cap1 for another $1.5k (thinking it would be nice to get up to $8k) and again they offered twice as much, $3k, to raise my QS to $9.5k.
I canceled my Credit One card after I got the Cap1 increase in May, so I put everything through this card (about $1k a month). Right now it has about $2k on it from some unexpected expenses.
I'm not sure if this will work, but this was my post from May: https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Card-Approvals/Asked-Cap1-for-1500-CLI-got-3000/td-p/5251891
I've gotten so much great information from this site that I wanted to give some more data points in case they help anyone else who has a bucketed card. When I applied for the PenFed checking account my Fico9 was 691, so whatever Cap1 uses is less than that, probably.

Congrats on the increases with Capital One, that's some good growth for them so you must be doing something right!
Congrats on your CLI. Cap1 is becoming like Disco. Dont know what your going to get since the purse strings have tightened up lately.
Congrats
Congrats on your CLI !!!
Thanks, everyone!
Re: PenFed, my car's 16 years old and I was tired of paying $8 a month for a checking account that used to be free, so I decided to apply for a PenFed checking account in November and have a relationship with them by the time my car needs to be replaced. I didn't apply for a cc at the same time because I thought I was kind of pushing my luck just with the checking account!
Last week, it was coming up on 30 days since I'd applied, and just in case that was the limit for the HP they did in November, I applied for the Power Cash Rewards Visa, which was maybe an overreach. I got an email on Saturday morning saying "Your application is currently being reviewed by one of our loan officers. We will contact you within 24 - 48 hours for more information or a decision on your application." Since I haven't heard from them, I assume it'll be a denial, which is okay. I wouldn't have applied at all except that I hate to waste the HP.
Whatever happens, I'll add it to the PenFed data points thread. But Cap1 still likes me! :-)
Congrats on the Cli, somebody is getting some love
