If you don't mind me asking, was this your first CLI and how long since you had opened the card?

I got mine in September and the 3rd statement just cut and it was at about 14 percent utilized when I got hit the LUV button and got the big ole DENIED.  I can't think of a single synchrony card that I've gotten a CLI.

So, it was that time to ask for an increase.  I asked for $10,000,  (which was a bit much) but they counter offered it to $5,000.

So yeah, I took it!  LOL. This new limit is the highest I have to date!  My card is finally growing!

I had two CLI since I had the card, which been close to a year.  Both times, I hit the request button.

Re: Amazon Synch CLI!

What's your credit score?

Synchrony hates me for some reason, even though my credit score is close to 700. They have never given me a CLI on my Amazon store card, despite my having the card for 10+ years and never missing a payment.

They've also lowered the lines on my other cards. Just got a letter one day telling me they were reducing the CL by > 50%.

Re: Amazon Synch CLI!

@designated_knitter  my DH had didnt get a CLI until the 4 month mark with both his Amazon and Google store cards which are both sych. Im sure its YMMV but i think 4 months in a safe place to start and then maybe every 3 after that.

My current scores are in my signatures. It took me a whole year to get an CLI the first time, which wasn't too long ago.  Then, after 61 days, I tried again and got it to $5K.
