So my husband got the amazon prime card mid december of 2017. 300 limit. Tried for a increase when he got the card but no dice. Insufficient experience at current limit. Figured we would wait 3 months as i do on most of my sync cards. First statement cut yesterday with an 85 dollar balance(charged about 175 on it in December) Logged in to pay the bill and noticed his limit is now 4800! So it was an auto cli in the first month. I Have not read alot on sync auto cli that much. His score is 710. Very happy with it!
When I log in to my Amazon store card account, I can actively request a CLI using the "request more" button. So far I refrained from doing that as I fear this will result in a hard pull. Is that correct or is there a chance they do a CLI without hard pull?
I have that card since August 2016 and it has always been in perfect standing, used regularly and PIF. Current limit is $2,300.
i have requested cli on my amazon card dozens of times. Never have gotten a hard pull. the amazon store card is issued by synchrony bank who 99% of the time will not do a hard pull for a cli. So i would say go for it. i have a bunch of synchrony cards and request cli on all of them frequently and i have never received a hard pull.

You obviously deserved it. Don't know why they could not have simply started you out with a higher limit.
Synchrony has been good to me. After this crazy frigid weather my car would not start. Jumped it off and went straight to Sams Club for a Duracell battery (750 cold cranking amps). Battery must have been bad for a while because this new one makes my car feel new again. Small $113 dollar charge on my card for the month.

Same here with synch being good to me. I have never had any issues. Customer service has always been fine, not as good as boa or discover but no issues. Payments post on time, no funny business and no blue envelope lol. I have alot of cards with them with the stores i frequent most and i have been pleased. comenity on the other hand hates me and wont let me get the ulta credit card lol.
Its awesome to get the prime cards from better banks too, but i do love my snch cards .![]()
@Creditcollector: Many thanks for the advice. I pulled the trigger and it surely did not disappoint! :-) My previous limit was at $2,300 and I asked for an increase to $4,000, which I though would be quite ambitious. Anyway, after pulling the trigger I received an instant CLI to $4,800! Happy times!

That's awesome!! Congrats to you!!! Sometimes if its instant it means you might have left 'money' on the table, so you can ask for another increase and see if there is anymore they are willing to give you. I have asked up to 5 times
on the same card on the same day cause they kept giving me more. It's best to ask high with synchrony backed cards. They will counter with what you are eligible for. I asked for an increase of 4,000 before and got countered with 500. If what they gave you is all they are willing to right now then after 3 statements have cut, ask again. GENERALLY synchrony will give you credit limit increases every 3 months. Good luck!!!
