American Eagle Store card CLI to $10,000

Well I decided to press the luv button and see what it said was instantly approved for the $10,000 I requested

Now one may ask what can you buy for 10k in AEO my short answer is I do not know nor did I need the increase. This is the highest my balance has been since opening my card.

Opened the card back in July-ish 2016  $280 approval online bumped to $3,000 with credit solutions than $5,000 back in November and now I am sitting at $10,000

I was contemplating asking for a CLD before pressing the button tonight, I really only need about $1,000 on this card.

My total exposure with Synchrony is now $18,000 which is $1,200 short of my annual income

$8,000 Marvel CL was denied last increase because it was too close to my last increase

Yes be careful with Synchrony... I advise one card only or maybe 2.... they will AA you if you aren't careful. Looks like you have 2 so you should be fine if you don't do a lot of CLI requests and red flag type things they don't like.

That being said... congrats . Is this the Visa or the store card? If just the store card I would call and ask about an upgrade.

This is the store card sadly I've been wanting the AEO Visa for a while. They have yet to offer it to me

I only have two synchrony cards my Marvel is my daily driver!

Congrats on the increase! I have the Visa and it went from $2500 to $10,000 after 3 months. Have you called in to see if you're eligible for the Visa?

Has anyone had success with calling and asking?

I have heard/read that they tell you to apply for the card again

Would you just call the normal customer service number?

Tha automated system did not want to let me speak to a live representative without what it found was a valid reason, of which card upgrades is not one apparently because it hung up on me!

When I call in I continue to say Speak to Someone until robo person gets annoyed and transfers me .
