American Express Blue Cash Preferred Approval

Applied today for American Exp Blue Preferred...approved with 3k starting limit.

I applied and got the Am.Exp Everyday Blue on 5/6 for 4000.. asked for CLI of 3x SL on 7/31.

I didnt get the 3x the limit but they did counter with 4000. So now at 8000.

I check my card offers when I logged in and it listed two.. so far no hard pull either.

Question regarding CLI since I have the new card....do I have to wait for 6 months since me last increase on 7/31, or can I request after 60 days on this new one?

Bam!Bam!

My understanding is all personal accounts fall under the same limitations. A CLI on one starts the clock on all.

Re: American Express Blue Cash Preferred Approval

A CLI with Amex on one card is treated as one across all cards.. Meaning if you get on on one card you aren't eligable to get one on another card for 6 months.. Same goes for declines if declined on one card you must wait 3 months before trying again

Re: American Express Blue Cash Preferred Approval

New accounts only get the graces of being able to CLI 61 days after account opening regardless if you did a CLI on a previous account.

Spend $115/week @ a grocery store and it'll more than pay for the AF.
