Today I received my Amex Everyday card and with a lot of members here talking about a 3x Credit Limit Increase I activated my card and then went and asked for a CLI. The limit I got on the card was 2000. So I asked for a 3x cli.....Unfortunately I miscalculated and asked for 5000 instead of 6000. I was approved. So I went form 2000 to 5000 on my card. Even with the mistake I am happy as that was what I was hoping for to begin with.......

That was a brave enough move, not everyone is going to just jump in for a CLI the first day. You did jump in head first and you were rewarded. Now in 6 months you can have a CL that's 10k or over. Thanks for the remarks. Having the Amex BCP card since 2009 I felt that my relationship with Amex was good enough to be brave. With CLI on the BCP I am up to 13800. At this time though I have BT to on 2 cards to take care of, then I can work on CLI on my other cards after that. Thanks again for the advice......
