Amex 3x APPROVED

I was approved for my first Amex card on 2/1/18 and was on steps. I asked for the 61 days 3x CLI and was denied. Got the auto increase on that card 3 weeks ago, waited for my new score to upload, and pulled the trigger on 3x for my Hilton. APPROVED 6 months into my Amex relationship. $1k to $3k

I was disheartened with all the talk of people not getting CLIs for years when they started on steps or had $1k limits. This was a pretty big deal for me as Amex is one of my favorite lenders and now it seems they are much more comfortable with me and the progress I've made. In the last three weeks I've gotten a $500 steps increase, $2k POT added to my PRG, and a $2k CLI. I'm beyond thrilled.

Congrats! My BCE started at $2k exactly 2 years ago, and it grew to $12k before I transferred $2k to the Cash Magnet card. Give it time and it’ll grow!
