Started my credit building journey in March of this year and have been checking the prequalify links monthly for cards I was hoping to get. Surprisingly on Monday I checked and was  prequalified for 3 AmEx products and chose to apply for the AmEx BCE. Instant approval, 1k SL.

Data points: 

No FICO scores.

TU Vantage 3.0 685, 6 inq.

EQ Vantage 3.0 666, 5 inq.

EX 4 inq.

AmEx pulled EX report.

AaoA 5 months

Utilization 8%

No baddies.

3 new accounts in the last 6 months. 

Mar 2018 Cap 1 Platinum SL $300

April 2018 Discover IT SL $500

June - Cap 1 CLI to $400 & PC to Quicksilver

July- Discover CLI to $800

Approved Kohl's card SL: $300

August - Discover CLI to $1000

September - Approved AmEx BCE SL: $1000

Denied Walmart, Zulily and Barclays Apple Rewards along the way.
