Pretty much. Except that it's not from the date of activation or the date of application. It's from the day Amex creates your account (which in my case was smack between the app and activation dates)  -- and you'll be able to see that date once you're able to set up your online account.

So to update everyone here I just received the approval letter from Amex.  My Experian fico was 672 when they approved me last week.  Crazy cuz as I said, it was 645 according to them in December.

Hey congrats to you! I got the same $1k limit last month, but who cares??? We have an Amex revolver now. LOL One step in the right direction I'd say small limit or not. LOL
