I was able to 3X from 10K to 30K w/o any requests and instant approval. The threshold for newer accounts seems to be in the neighborhood of $35K not $25K. You should be fine and approved for the increase.
I requested an increase from $22,500 to $35,000 and they countered with $29,100. No FR. Asking for $30,000 should be no problem.

I asked for the 30k online via the website and they countered with 16,800. I am not complaining about a 6.8k increase, but is there a recon number I should call if there is money on the table?
20-25k would better number. Please advise what would be best? Should I just wait the 181 days?
I would wait the 181 days. GIven your other limits are substantially lower I would think a recon would not be successful. Also all of our accounts are quite new.
The thing with AMEX and 3X around here is the rules are no more than 3X but shoot for the stars anyway and take what they put on the table. It's a simple game. It never hurts to ask for too much rather than too little.
Sorry you didn't get the 30K but, hey.... the ball is rolling.
at leats 180 days unless you want to push the envelope on 3X beyond $35K+ and fill out the 4506 for your income verfication. There seems to be a loophole when you do the 4506 requests where the dates don't matter as much.

I have a question, I reached out to Amex via chat as I have the Blue Cash card. I asked specifically if the CLI are instant approvals or do they go through a 7-10 day window for review. The person stated that they do not do instant approvals when you request a CLI. I noticed you stated you did the 3x with instant approval, so are the reps wrong or did you get this without requesting a CLI? I have had my card for 4 years with them with good history never been late never used it to heavy as I tend to use my Amex Plat more than any of them. Again I really would like to know if their CLI's are like other banks like BOFA I put my desired amount and my income a message was the bottome of the page that said your credit is not impacted by requesting an increase.
I have requested and received 3 CLIs from Amex ($2500 to $7500, $7500 to $22500, and $2250 to $29100). The first two were instant approvals and the third one was a coutner-offer they made which I accepted immediately. Not sure what your rep was talking about, but there certainly are instant approvals for soft pull CLIs after 180 days.
