Amex BCP Approval with low limit... Instant card number

1st - Amex (Delta Plat) was May 2021.. started with $2,000 limit.. currently at $16,000

2nd - Amex (Plat Charge) Dec 2021

Applied for 3rd Amex (BCP) June 2022.. and was in "Pop Up Hell" for the sub.. have applied many times, many different ways and still would receive the "pop up"

Applied yesterday in incognito mode.. and was approved with no "pop up".. chose the instant card number option.. and was given $1,200 limit

Added the BCP to my online profile and tried requesting a CLI.. option is not available, message reads.. "Your account is ineligible for a Credit Limit increase request"

Why is my credit limit so low for the BCP? Does accepting an instant card number with Amex ever have an affect on the initial credit limit offered?

It's probably low because something about your file is making them nervous. It's a borderline approval.

No, the instant card number would have no bearing on the SL. That's entirely dependent on your credit report.

BTW it's expected you can't ask for a CLI when you JUST opened the account - the earliest you could possibly try is 3-6 months.
