Amex Bluecash Everyday (sm) Approval (Limited Credit History)

Today i was approved for the bluecash everyday amex against all odds. My credit age is less then 6 months old only containing a cap1 platinum card with a 300$ SL that i opened about 5 months ago (my first card). I also have like 20 hard inquiries in the last 12 months from application sprees earlier in the year. I didn't receive the intro apr on the bluecash but they did give me a rather generous SL of 2000$ which came as a shock considering i barely have a credit history and my income is less then 20k. Either way i am really happy!

I think that might be tempting fate. Cap1 wouldn't even give me a CLI above my 300$ SL and denied me when I later applied for their secured card too. Guess it can't hurt to give it a shot tho lol.

Congrats! That's a great card to have. On the 3X cli, when you ask, all they can say is no or offer you a lessor amount.

It wont hurt your account in any way and you might be pleasantly surprised. IIRC you request it on day 91/after 3 statements. If possible USE that card a lot and PIF.
