I have found the information on here extremely helpful and I know had a lot of questions around Amex's CLI and amounts over $30K, so I hope to provide some additional datapoints based on my experience.
Credit Scores - EQ - 760, TU - 768, EX - 729
Inquiries - EQ - (4) - 1 mtg, 1 car, 2 Credit Cards
TU (2) - 1 mtg 1 Credit Card
EX (3) - 1 mtg 2 Credit Card (one of which is AMEX)
Income - $200K + (Source W2 and rental)
Card - BCP
Monthly Payments - In full before Statement
Total cards including Amex is 7. Only one other card than Amex at $30K making them the highest CL even before the CLI. All others between $800 and $16,000.
Starting Limit 7/17 - $12.5K
Day 61 CLI 9/17 - $34K immediate approval with no 4506T request
Day 181 CLI 3/17.... Req #1 $45K - 4506T, Back out,
Req #2 $40K - 4506T, Back Out,
Req #3 $39.5K Still 4506T (*sigh*... oh well one more try)
Request #4 - 39K SUCCESS NO 4506T. So total increase of, $5k. Yay!!!
Avg spend 1K, with peaks of higher months. Most recent spend average lowered due to spending for another card category bonus promotion. I did feel stronly enough about the increase to submit the 4506T, and I am okay with the current limit without submitting it.
I hope this is helpful and ask away if you have any questions. Have a great credit journey!
Congrats on the increase!

Wow! Congrats on your CLIs!
And thanks for sharing your DPs.
Awesome! Amex is my largest exposure and single highest CL as well. I've been putting the majority of my spend through Amex and Chase lately, excluding some small purchases on the other cards and anything on Amazon. My last CLI was $10k-$30k on my SPG (instant approval), so it will be curious to see what my next request nets, if anything. Income is around $95k, so there's definitely a difference in that regard. Once again, awesome results!
Thank you all for your feedback and support. I haven’t yet decided how much appetite I have for poking this particular bear much more, so I hope to see how well others may fare in their quest for even higher limits. If anything, I might wait until my Experian score grows a bit.
