Amex CLI

Today was day 62 for my Amex BCE. SL was $2K. Have a balance of just over $1k on it right now. Tried for 3x CLI, was offered 2x, and I accepted! So my new CL is $4k for that card! My highest limit! Woohoo!!! This made me happy after being denied for Blispay earlier this week.

Nice job with the CLI!

One thing I'd recommend going forward... if you PIF or at least significantly pay down your utilization it would likely help you with the amount of your CLIs.

50% utilization is likely the reason they doubled your limit instead of tripling it.  Regardless it's a significant improvement, just something to think about going forward.

Thanks! I will definitelt do that before my next request! That was my original goal, but unfortunately an unexpected vet bill cropped up that will take me a few weeks to pay down. I figure 2x is good for now and will get my refocused for 6 months down the road to try for another! I certainly don't need $6k on one card right now, but was worth a shot!
