Amex Cash Magnet approval after BK7

Here's some data on my recent Amex approval to help others in the rebuilding phase. I had seen that Amex would often approve at 5 years + 1 month after filing. I filed Ch 7 BK on 7/23/2015 and originally planned to wait until after August 23rd to make sure it was the full 1 month. However, I decided to try on August 1st. Happily, I was approved!

- Amex was not IIB

- No offers found on the prequalification page.

- My CR negatives are my BK and a few late payments in the month before my filing date, but no negatives since the BK.

- Amex pulled Experian (674 FICO 8).

Still waiting on my card to find out my starting limit, but I'm really pleased to have a foot in the door with Amex (and take advantage of the $300 Cash Magnet SUB).
