Yesterday i applied for the Amex Delta Gold card expecting either a decline or a 1k limit turns out the approved me instantly with a 5k limit! This will be my 3rd Credit Card! when i applied i had a 698 FICO 8 score with 40% Utilization and AAoA of 9 months. this is pretty crazy considering ive only had credit for a year.

Not as crazy as you think. Take it from someone who has long AAOA but screwed it up with my own mistakes. Rebuilding is way worse than the clean slate, within 6-12 months time you can get some seriously nice credit lines starting out the gate on the right foot.
