I just recently found out that my 12 year old Amex Blue card earns a lower tier MR points that can't be transferred to airline partners. So I figured I'd pick up the Amex Everyday to earn "real" MRs with no AF.
I had a pre-approval, but was surprised to get a SL of $11,000! ....until I realized that they took $11,000 from my Blue card...womp womp. So I got a new card today, but didn't increase my TCL any. Oh well, at least I get a (small) SUB and BT offer.
