My Amex EveryDay card became eligible for a CLI on 4/6 but I decided to wait until later in the month in order to reallocate a portion of the credit line to my Blue Business Plus card, and make sure Amex soft pulled my latest scores. After reallocation the credit limit was at $15,000 so on 4/25 I requested a 2X CLI to $30,000 which was immediately approved. I'm sure I left some credit limits on the table but I'm satisfied with the increased limit.
My BofA Cash Rewards was at $50,000 and also became eligible for another CLI on 4/6. I requested an increase to $99,900 just for grins and was for the first time ever I got a decline from BofA. The adverse action letter cited a number of reasons why they couldn't grant an increase. I had planned to wait 30 days and make another request but since I thought the reasons given for the denial were not supported by my credit reports, I submitted a request for a CLI to $75,000 a few minutes ago and was immediately approved for $70,000.
Nice big jump on the ED, congrats! BOA even better, kudos to you!
Congrats on your two sizable increases there
A portion of the 3-page Adverse Action notice I received from BofA earlier this month. The only thing I could think is that I made my request one day too early (reason #1).
Awww only 30k and 70k?? You can hardly buy gum with that!
Congrats on the mega increases!!!
Congrats on the amex CLI
Congrats on the clis maize!
Congratulations on your CLI approvals!
