When I was 18 back in the 80s, credit card companies would bombard our campus, none were passing out 9k limits. If you got $700, you were considered a big baller. Times have changed. I wish I still had a relationship with that bank that gave me that $700 card back in 1987.

My parents didn’t know about credit. They knew about layaway and saving for the things they wanted. I guess you can tell I’m a baby boomer 😁
