When I was 18 back in the 80s, credit card companies would bombard our campus, none were passing out 9k limits. If you got $700, you were considered a big baller. Times have changed. I wish I still had a relationship with that bank that gave me that $700 card back in 1987.
If only I could go back to when I was 18...before I destroyed my credit... lol
I think its awesome that he has some guidance in the credit world!! Keep it up!
Responsible use will go a long long way!!
CONGRATULATIONS to your Son on his Approval, the AWESOME SL, Thanks for the DPs, and Welcome to the AmEx family!!!
Ths is ONLY the Beginning, with @VoltronM as his Mentor!!!
Way to go! You're being a good parent by teaching him things many of our parents never taught us.
I agree with this 100%. I wish my parents had taught me about credit and how to properly handle it.
My parents didn’t know about credit. They knew about layaway and saving for the things they wanted. I guess you can tell I’m a baby boomer 😁
