Very happy to have been approved for Amex Green! Not as prestigious as Gold or Platinum I guess, but one of the old-school classics, and seemingly one of the less popular Amex cards. Though I guess it's probably the easiest to get?
They gave me no results on the "Search for any Pre-approval offers" form, but strangely, I still passed the "Check if you pre-qualify for a specific card" form, so had to submit it. No pre-determined limit since this is a charge card, but got a 10000 "Pay Over Time" Limit whatever that is. Great news after being approved for a not-so-exciting 500 SL on my most recent Citi card. I was ready to give up, but must have skated by on the app.
The approval said the score used in the decision was from a previous HP back in February - when I applied for Discover and Citi DoubleCash. So probably no negative impact on my credit score, other than lowering my age of credit. (But I wonder if it adds utilization ?)
Not really sure how the POT feature is different than revolving credit, except my APR is quite high 28&. So I sense this is not typically issued as a low-APR card.
Anyway I think now I am going to quit while I'm ahead - no new apps for at least 6 months.

Congrats on your new Amex Green! That's a healthy POT limit too if you choose to use it. Also no HP is always a win.
I too have the card and it works perfectly for my work related expenses. Personally love how the 3x travel counts towards rental cars, parking... very broad.
