Last week a few sites I followed mentioned Amex was sending out targeted 50,000MR points offers with $2K spend in 3 months for the PRG. The offer wouldn’t appear for me while logged in and nothing ever appears for me logged out (even using new browsers, incognito, etc.). Fast forward to yesterday, I logged in and had the offer. I couldn’t resist considering this is the highest MR offer with lowest spend I’ve been able to capture for the PRG. Last week it was 25K MR for the same spend.
Amex updated my score on the 29th (EX FICO 8 - 740). The approval as with the last one since becoming a member was a soft pull. Scores are in my signature. It went 24hr pending which surprised me so I called in after about 20hrs and they just needed to verify whether I was military, which was a first. I’m not. After that she said, that’s all she needed and it was approved.
This is probably not really relevant but I dig data points when others post them so here it goes (not counting the PRG):
