Amex Platinum Approval but...

Was preapproved for Personal Platinum so I applied and was approved. Wanted my number immediately so as I clicked ok this popped up “Amex system malfunctioned it and I will get a $60 credit for system issue’”.

A number of people have had this happen. If it were me, I’d be happy - Plat will arrive likely in two days. I’d be able to wait that period of time, especially for a free $60 statement credit.
