I'm off the starting block already working on recouping the $550. Got something from Saks $50 and they had an Amex deal, pay your cellphone bill and receive up to $10 back. Both those in the bag.

Congrats on acceptance! As noted, not really a points card so much as a travel perks card. Spend enough time in airports and you'll never question the value

Now get that SUB and start thinking about the next vacation!

Miss Kitty I had a 75k referral a few weeks ago and I choked and did not apply, when I decided my mind to apply I went to the link and it was not saying 75k anymore. That 100k is elusive, all I have done is heard of it and not able to locate, so I settled for the 60k. Disappointingly

Wow! I just received the platinum pre-approved offer with 60k membership rewards points. Didn't know there were 75k and 100k potential options. Should I hold out?? I've had the AMEX gold card and AMEX everyday card for almost a year now.
