Amex Platinum Approval

Last night I decided to cold app for the Amex Platinum and was auto approved. No pre-approved offers beforehand.

Filed chapter 7 BK 03/2015. Discharged 07/2015.

EX score last night was 664 per their form. Over $116k available credit. Currently at 1% utilization on 1 card rest at zero. 

8 30day lates a few months ago due to Covid but got a large bonus and paid everything off so all good now. 

Glad to finally be back in the door with Amex. Time to kick a few crappy cards to the trash.

Congrats! The AMEX Plat is on my radar for 2021 once the benefits of lounge access in airports is worthwhile again.

Congrats! Did you have any AMEX accounts DC in your ch7? I eventually want an AMEX as well but one of their accounts was in my Ch7 in 2014.

I did not IIB any Amex products. I had a Zync card back in 2010 and they closed it on me 2 months after getting the card. Never gave me a real reason why either. This is the first time ive tried them since. Had a sour taste when they were so easy to throw me in the trash back then.
