I haven't applied for anything for over 3 years. A couple months ago my Chase Amazon CL auto increased to $12,300. I decided to use that for a little before applying for a new card. Today was the day, I apped for a Amex Gold Delta and was approve immediately for $17,300. No pre approvals cold apped. After that I apped for the Citi AAdvantage Platinum and was instantly approved for $16,300. I used a expired mailer from Citi.
I fly quite a bit (+10) for work with my girlfriend, and we use both airlines frequently.
Really appreciate everyone's help and post!
