Last summer I picked up my everyday card in July and was instantly approved for 9900. Iv put minor spend through it and never asked for any increases. Then today I was checking out my account center and said well why not ask and see what happens. I put in 15K as what I wanted. Didn't want to ask for more because I wanted to leave some on the table for future approvals. Was instantly approved and was a little suprised. Guess I need to show them some luv in my wallet! This is my first and only Amex too.
