With Amex, it doesn't seem necessary to have a super high income to get that exposure IME.
I'm not exactly sure what they look at, income is one small part for sure. I'm starting to wonder if location is also a factor? As well as them wanting to entice one's family members to carry their cards? I've added siblings to some of mine. Now some of them receive invitations to apply with Amex. One of their sons received an invitation to apply. The invitation was mailed to my home. lol
They are using some form of software thats linking people together that are related.
My Amex exposure is a little over $76k with revolvers.
Ya basically my exposure with them
Yeah I know, except my stated household income is two thirds of yours.😉
Congrats Mr.Disco that’s quite the comeback !!
Congrats! You had us on an emotional rollercoaster with you and glad it turned out well, LOL!
Congrats... pretty clear that the AMEX gods are showing your favor 💰
NICE!! COngratulations on your approval!!
Congrats! I have to say that I am quite jealous of your overall limits with Amex. The lender that I never put any spend through gives me $100k (OK, no cheating, it's only $99,900), yet the lender that I put nearly $100k spend through every year gives me a combined $26,500 across 3 revolvers. I'll be asking for $63k on my SPG again next week. Wish me luck!
