Amex gold 90k Sign up bonus

Hi guys,

I applied for the amex gold card 2 days and got a 75k offer and got accepted. However, when I logged into my account today to add my new card and looked at the offer and benefits section of my blue cash preferred I see that I have a offer of 90K points and directs to me to a new application where my info is prefilled. I thought sign up offers are once in a lifetime? Any way amex match my current 75k offer to the 90k offer since its in my account?

When I applied for the Gold, it was still showing in the pre-approval page for a couple of weeks (almost a month actually). You get the offer you signed up for but I read multiple comments were people applied for the 60k bonus and got 75k when they hit their SUB spending. I wouldn't count on it but it would be a nice surprise.

The offer that you accept is typically the one you will receive, AFAIK they wont give you the higher deal. In the future make sure you check around for the best offer you can find before apping. Welcome to myfico!
