Re: Amex gold approval

I have never heard of someone applying for a credit card or charge card and there being no hard pull.

The exception might be if you had a very recent hard pull with that issuer (same day or last few days) and they are choosing to use that pull instead of doing a new one.  I assume that is not the case here?

If not, I'd give the issuer another two business days -- another four business days if you are relying on an "alert."  I'd also check all three bureaus.

Re: Amex gold approval

Amex only pulled my credit on the first card. The other 4 they didn't (or it was just a soft pull).
