Amex just took me to 33K!

I have had Amex BCP for 18 months. They would not give me a 3x this entire time and even denied the first request completely. Every two months over the last 6 months they bumped me a couple $1000 a time until I landed on 11k. Well today, I asked for the 3x again even through they said they could only give me a few grand in November. Immediate approval for 33K!!!!

Now I am wondering if I could have asked for more, lol. What is the max limits Amex gives per income level?

You stated ever 2 months they bumped you, I assume these were auto?

The first one I got was auto and that was in May. My first request was denied so I waited for the auto. I then called in the fall and the agent said he could give me 2k. Then I called two months later and they gave me a little more. Then I called again and got authorized for a little more to land on 11K. Then I went online today and got the 3X. So all but one were auto and all of the last ones were by request. SP of course, thank you Amex!

Wow I am confused but congrats nonetheless! Just got 3x as well on my BCP this week to take it to 30k.
