After the big Navy approval early in April, I had a couple of SP increases.
• Overstock $15,050 increased by $1500 to $16,550
• A blood-from-a-stone $500 bump on my Disco ITCash from $3100 to $3600, my first increase in 22 months on that card
Today I decided to go ahead and take the approval on the Apple Card that I've had sitting for a couple months. I figured that I don't know of any other cards I'm interested in picking up in the near to medium future, so I might as well. Oldest daughter is headed to college in the fall and I was planning a MacBook for her as a grad gift to take, and our family is heavily and fully invested in the Apple ecosystem so this one was going to happen sooner or later. Why wait?
Approval was $3000, a little lower than I was hoping for but the preapproval at that limit showed up in March and hasn't increased, so I took it. Given the DPs from cardholders on spending and CLIs, I should be able to grow it initially off of the MacBook purchase at least.
All in all I'm content, and the SP increases even pushed me over $150,000 TCL, so that was a fun waypoint to achieve.
