Just in time for Black Friday (ok, I'm HIGHLY unlikely to use 1% cashback for Black Friday... or, well, ever, I've already maxed out the 5%- With totally reimbusible purchases... free money)
We got a small increase, but they went about a year without giving us anything, I don't think that Discover's masters like you paying off everything except one card (which you leave a token balance on) right before statement close. Or, the monkeys hit the approve part of the dart board again... we'll never know. Regardless, we were approved for an additional $2500 credit line (love that padding). Also, NONE of that was actually stuff that we have to pay for personally, so it's like going from a $15,800 CL to a $18,300 CL for free =)
Does anyone else have a decent credit limit, but their cash advance line is... subpar? It's something I'd never use, so it isn't incredibly important, I just find it odd. It was $300 until August.
Congratulations on the discover credit increase. I have a Discover with 29K limit and cash advace limit of 2.5K, got this account back in june of 2016.
CONGRATS!!!!!
My 1st disco had a 3000 sl and only a 600 cash advance limit. My 2nd disco has a 6000 sl but has a 3000 cash advance limit.
I never use cash advances anyway.
Thanks @SUPERSQUID
Thanks @firefox100
Congratulations on your limit increase! Regarding the cash advance limit something seems off. It's supposed to be a certain percentage of the card's credit limit. Usually it is 3% or 5% of your credit limit. Here's my limit and cash advance amount.
Congrats on your Discover CLI
