Another Nordstrom cli - $10k-$15k!

Figured it's been 4 months since my last cli from Nordstrom so I called to see if I was eligible for another.  Instant approval to $15k!  The guy asked, "are you making a big purchase cause I see you never carry a balance?"

I just said "uh, yes..I will be making a fairly large purchase".  In reality, I put maybe few hundred on this card every few months. lol.

Congrats on the CL! Is this a store card or Visa?

I have my Nordie Visa card for just over a year. Started at $1500 and still there! Lol. This card just doesn’t grow for me. Not sure as to the reason. I used it a EDC, tried carrying a balance, and even PIF. Nothing.

TD bank also runs my Target MasterCard... I get pretty regular CLI averaging every 6 months to 9 months... hardly ever use the card, I mean charge like $10 every 6 months for activity, PIF... sock drawer another 6 months. That card just got a Cli, was at 5k now 7k within the last two weeks... maybe one day, this 🦄 CLI from Nordie will show up... one day....

Thinking out loud here. The one thing I don’t use my Nordstrom card for is Nordstrom items! Maybe that’s is where I’m losing the battle. I remember now somewhere in here, someone mention Nordstrom is keen on use at Nordstrom. 🤔 I’ll give that a shot.. Macy’s may not like that, as I have put in some work with them. Open my Macy’s card January 2018 $300 store card and now sits at $15k and will be upgraded to the Amex version in May... plus I just opened another Macy’s Amex card...
