Another Off the Amex Blacklist Thread

Only took me 10 years!  But I just got an email that I'm approved for a Gold Card.  Email includes the last 5 numbers of account, so apparently they've issued it.   Hopefully I can get back to Platinum in a year!

Nice! Enjoy the Gold! Amex has been hounding me with mailers and emails for that one but my spend could never justify the AF.

What originally put you on the Amex Blacklist? CO or BK?

I had BK in 2006, took me 10 years to get back with AMEX. They've declined me for Green, Gold, Platinum charge cards but approved me for delta, SPG and the Business Platinum. But its good to be back with AMEX

that's good to know.  That's the actual goal ("Redemption").  I'll garden about 6 months before trying to upgradel.
