App Spree - Some Approvals & Some Letters

I did a little app spree today

Immediately approved for Discover It Card w/ $1200 CL.  I'll use it wisely for 3-6 months & request a CLI.

Also, approved for CFNA/Tires Plus card w/ $1200 CL.  This one was more a necessity than a desired card.

I got pre-selected letter from Citi for the Diamond Preffered card and received the 7-10 day message.  Called into verify the information & was denied.  I'll recon once I receive the letter.

Also, applied for AMEX Blue Cash Everyday - was denied due to collections accounts but I fear my accounts haven't updated on the EXP just yet.  I'll wait until they are removed & recon.

Credit Available went from $5600 to $8000 - so that's a small step in the right direction.

Congrats on your recent approvals, sorry for Citi & AMEX denials.  For Citi, you can call them now and see if you can recon, you don't have to wait for the letter.  For AMEX,  they typically do not overturn their decisions unless there are errors in your report, so if your report still had a derog at the time of app, then be prepared to take an additional HP or they may just ask you to wait and try it again.

Also - I had a BOA secured card that was unsecured in 2013.  Called in & asked if I could convert the card to the 123 Cash Rewards - they agreed.  I will have a new card #...does any know if that card number can be backdated to when I first got the secured card (July 2012).
