Re: App now or later?

Personally, if you can hold off for a few months, I would, but that is upto you. IMHO, I'm more conservative and wouldn't take the chance but then again, what's the harm in trying? The most that will happen is a denial.

Thanks, guys!

I apped for the AMEX BCE this morning - approved with a limit of $6,000!  My poor Experian score is taking a beating, LOL, down to 778.  But, now I have three decent cards to AZEO garden with.   I'm going for a DCU Savings Secured Loan next, maybe after taxes.  I'll take your advice and hold off on the Citi DC until later this year.

This forum is the BEST.  I don't know of any other place where people are so invested in seeing other people succeed.  You guys are all heroes.

Re: App now or later? Update: Approved

Thanks, everyone!  I appreciate everyone's valuable input.

I think I'm going to stop for now.  I'd rather not have the two hard inquiries from Citi, and I will have an HP coming from the DCU SSL.  As little as 6 or 8 months out, I may need to apply for a huge personal loan to cover my business deal disaster.  Gotta have a bit of age on everything at that point, and I have two cards that I can put at least some on at 0% for over a year if the worst comes to the worst.

Ever onwards!
