BTW, although Inspirus CU is very limited in reach (Washington State, a few counties in Oregon and Idaho) they offer some great rates. I opened checking & savings with them too. With direct deposit you earn 5% APY on up to $500!

Wow, the share savings and checking rate used to be 7.99% APY, I didn't even know they lowered it until I read this. That's shady that I didn't even get a notice from them about this change.
