App spree post closing craziness!

Well, where to begin. Haven't posted or worked much on credit items lately but I have some fun updates.

Closed on a house (4.85%, could’ve been worse). After closing, picked up the following new cards:

PenFed Platinum Rewards: $25k limit, unsure APR.
DW got Amex Blue Cash Preferred: $15k limit, unsure APR.
US Bank Shoppers Cash: $10k limit, unsure APR.

I think between the US Bank and Amex BCP, we can max out each reward structure.

Grabbed the following CLI’s:

NFCU Flagship to 40k
NFCU Cash Rewards to $36k
Apple Card to $20k
PenFed Power Cash Rewards to $17.5k
Military Star to a whopping $3700, barely any use there.
AU on DW’s NFCU Amex to $39k

Experian 8 hovered around 740 the whole time. Income at 300k. I think with revolvers, up to 275k in credit. Charge cards could add to that if needed. To be honest, this seems a bit excessive. I’m a realist and recognize I may not always make a good income. At WORST our spending hits 6k/month before house/taxes/insurance. Not really sure what to do with all this credit. Keep going?

Happy to answer any questions and as always, thanks for your support!

You've been quite busy.  Congratulations on the new home, the new credit cards and the multiple CLI's.

Credit is a lot like a Reputation....It takes 20 years to build it and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, and you will do things differently.
