I heard the Green is the easiest to get approved for so I apped for it.  Same with Slate.

Update-

Discover IT was denied.  Booo!  I didn't think Id get an Amex and be turned down for a Discover but that's life.

Called recon number and was informed that I would only qualify with a "credit worthy joint applicant."  No biggie.  I'll try again in six months after my new cards start reporting.

Sorry about the Discover denial.  But I totally hear you on AMEX.  I got an instant approval on BCE but had to recon to get Cap One Sony Card!  Credit is a strange thing.
