Apple Card Approval - Yeah, I did it for the looks

Really didn't need the card, but the commercials got to me. I'm not a huge Apple fan, but do have an iPhone and MBP, card arrived today and it's beautiful. Very simple and clean. Some stats to hopefully help others:

Income: 135k

TU09 score: 847

Inquiries: 0 last two years, this one was a hard pull on TU

Debt: One CC showing a balance, auto loan 15k remaining on 50k loan, no mortgage

Congrats on your approval.

What's going on with your Experian score?  That's a YUUUGE difference.

Congrats!
While i would likely never use the Apple Card, i'm tempted to get it just for the cool factor and util padding, after i get the last two Chase cards i want. I also wouldn't accept an offer unless it was at least $10k.

Yeah, it's an old score, I'm sure it's in-line with the others now, but don't want to pay to see. Well, I guess I could see the score with my Amex, but they changed their website to this other score. I read somewhere you can still get your EX08 score from them, but haven't looked into it.

Yeah, I was hoping for more, but it's all good, more than enough for my anticipated spend on it.

Wow!  That's great man !  Congrats.
Very nice SL even though it might not be as high as you might have expected based on your income and 800+ score on two of you CBRs..

Much like you, the Apple Credit Card appealed to me just the looks & novelity factor alone... LOL. I don't need it, but I did do the SP thing to see if I could get it, and they declined me at this time... Grrr.  Probably take another crack at it after the new year.
