I usually try once a month and usually get asked to upload US government ID, which of course I don't have. Occasionally, in the early days, I got an immediate decline.
My first account was issued in August 2018, a now-closed Amex Gold. And I saw my FICO 8 was up 5 points to 709 (I know they use 9)
This time I was successful. Not exactly a generous CL, $2500 at 21.99%, but way better than Capital One wants to give me after over a year of using as much as possible and paying in full. And it's enough for my daily use without having to make multiple payments monthly
