I was adding my Discover card to apple pay and I got a notice to apply for the Apple card and it would not impact my credit score.
I have a GS Buss card that was a SP and I thought that was great, is this the same for the Apple Card? Is this card only for Apple products or can it be used anywhere? I did see 3% cash back anywhere?
If Apple card owners can give me some insite on the card itself, that will help me choose if I should accept the card or not. I have planting trees for 5 yrs now and I am looking to get some new cards in the new year

It is a Mastercard. It is decent for non category spending on Applepay
eligible purchases. I do appreciate the convenience if I'm on Safari and Apple Pay is offered as it integrates nicely by just double clicking my phone to pay (shippimg address defaults to card address).
Approval will probably result with a
HP.
If can be used in other places for 3% CB (which is rewarded as Apple Cash). I use the card to pay my T-Mobile phone bill for 3% CB.
I thought T-Mobile stopped allowing credit card payments?

T-Mobile accepts credit card payments but not for auto-pay. For auto-pay, they only accept a checking account or debit card.
The work around is sign up for auto pay with a checking acct, but pay the with Apple Card via ApplePay prior to the due date.
The work around is sign up for the $20 DISCOUNT (when auto pay with a checking acct) but pay the with Apple Card via ApplePay prior to the due date and leave $20 balance that will be covered by the auto pay. 😉

2% cash back Apple Pay purchases everywhere else.
1% cash back Metal Card purchases everywhere including the above.
Meh card imho. I thought it had potential but they never ran with it to make it more dynamic. Now it is one of those cards no banks really want with the current terms apples requires. Apple is going to have to buckle on some things either sharing losses on bad credit risks or allow tighter underwritting etc.
