Approval! But now I have all MC??

Cap 1 platinum and citi double cash approval - yes, low limits. $1k and $700, respectively. But, have to start somewhere. 

My question is, with these two new additions, I now have all MC: I currently have a barclaycard rewards MC, not counting VS card. Is having all MC bad? Should I mix in a Visa, or am I able to PC any of these to a Visa in the future? 

If this has already been answered or is in the wrong area, please advise and accept my apologies.

It's not bad having all MCs! They are accepted everywhere, just like Visas. But, some businesses can be fickle. So that's why I have both in my wallet. Also, an Amex.

whew! Ok, thanks for the reassurance. I knew about card acceptance variations across businesses, but wasnt sure if it was a knock when looking at overall credit.

You don't really need a visa unless of course you plan on shopping at Costco after June, other than that your good.

I used to work there! Great place, especially if you are working during college.

Costco online you can pay with other major credit cards - you also have access to more options, which helps especially when warehouse's carry product specific to their location.

Don't apply for a Visa just to have a Visa. It's not necessary. 99.9% of the time, Visa and MC are interchangeable and accepted in tandem. The only outlier would be Costco in the future. Otherwise, you're fine.
