Thanks for all the kind words! I've been devouring the Amex 3x cli & discover unofficial datapoints threads to be as prepared as I can to maximize my tradelines. 300+ page threads are daunting but well worth it.
As a small postscript to the approval spree I opted to roll the dice yet another time (what can I say, impulse control is not my strong suit) as we've got a wedding to attend & after some calculations we'd get more umph out of a points/miles travel card than any of my existing cards for airfare & hotel, and Chase was kind enough to give me a sapphire preferred with a 5k SL! 4 for 4 with a net 25k total credit line increase feels petty good.
I'll get around to a datapoint based approval post but scores at time of app should be +-10pts where they were in my OP. Thanks again to all of you!
