So I took a drive into two new cards for balance transfers. One for the citi custom card and the other from bank of America...

So I did the citi first and they only gave me 3000, in which I was upset about because I have another citi card that's sitting at 10000 limit. So kinda confused. Then i tried bank of America instantly approved for 10,000 the number I wanted. But I'm curious if anyone has ever tried to call in asks for a bigger limit or when is the best time to call. 3000 will literally be my smallest card. 

I'm sitting at 730-750 throughout all my scores. And no, inquiry on trans and Equifax. Only exp. My ulitization at 20%.

Congrats on your appovals.  Citibank is normally a fairly conservative lender and a $3K starting limit from them isn't terrible.

You can call customer service during EDT business hours and ask for a reconsideration on your starting limit.  I can't speak to your own specific odds of success but a reconsideration will cost you another HP.

**bleep**. Alright. Just called got two different answers haha. One said call back after 24 hours and the other call after 4 days.
